For coffee enthusiasts

Home brewing

Know the bean, build a recipe and taste the difference. Turn your daily coffee ritual into a more thoughtful exploration.

Plan your workshop

A useful starting point is getting to know the equipment you have and the cup you enjoy. The home brewing workshop is a space for people who are curious about coffee, want to improve an everyday recipe or would like to understand different approaches to brewing.

The work explores the relationship between coffee and water quantities, grind size, water temperature and brewing time. Changing one variable and comparing the result helps connect the numbers with what happens in the cup. The characteristics of the water and coffee are considered as part of the recipe's context.

You do not need impressive vocabulary to take part in a tasting. Simple notes on liveliness, perceived sweetness, intensity and finish can help you describe your preferences. Being able to explain why you enjoy a coffee is a useful starting point for planning the next brew.

The workshop scope is discussed around the brewing equipment you use and the questions that interest you. Sharing your current recipe or a recurring difficulty before taking part helps us focus on practical questions you can take home.

Dates, location, duration, group size and price are confirmed during the enquiry process. Brewing methods, included materials and participation terms are shared before registration.
